36 Days of Type is a project which invites designers, illustrators and visuals artists to express their interpretation of the letters and numbers of the

Latin alphabet.

The project happens on a yearly basis and explores the creative boundaries of letterforms by challenging participants to design a letter or number each day for 36 consecutive days.
For the 10th anniversary of the project in 2023 I used modernist design as a reference point for exploring each character. A typographic grid was made which created a base and structure to create letters and numbers which have a number of different graphic interpretations. Each character was animated bringing the graphics forms to life in a more interactive manner.
